Peaches and Nectarines

There's just nothing like the juicy sweetness of a local peach picked when it's really ready! Hard, underripe stones from the store are just that.

We're partnering with McConnell's Farm in western Beaver County to provide local stone fruits--peaches and nectarines. These aren't organic--peaches grown in the humid East are just too difficult to overcome the fungal diseases which rot the fruit. You can click on the blue hotlink to see a little more about that farm and where this delicious fruit will be coming from.

We'll have a very limited number of these in your CSA box because we can't not give you the various vegetables which we grow and on which we value the boxes. Over the course of a few years, we'll likely offer a special fruit share, but at this time the only way to add this in is by offering larger quantities in bulk.

We can bring a 10# box of peaches with your veggies. Cost is $20

We'd like to know by the Saturday prior to delivery. Include the words peaches or nectarines in the subject line.
